Seasons Greetings, Since today is still a holiday for many and i have heard from some that they will not be at yoga tonight, tonight’s class is cancelled and we will resume classes next week, 5:00-6:30 p.m.as usual.

Sorry folks but due to slap in face with a cold I’m not up to teaching tomorrow and don’t want to spread it around. I do plan to resume class next week so we can have a slow, restorative healing session just before Christmas.

Hello Yogis and Yoginis,
I apologise for the delay in getting our classes started this Fall and hope you will be able to join me in January as new classes will start January 6th and run weekly with only few exceptions until mid June. Our theme this cycle will be experiencing our energy flow (Pranamaya Kosha) with particular focus on our hips and some less familiar Tibetan Yoga practices. Classes are open to all levels and include intention setting, warm-up, asana, deep relaxation, and pranayama practice as well as meditation. Classes are 2.5 hours and start at 9:30 am and finish at 12:00 pm. Each week will gradually build on prior weeks but do stand alone so classes are drop-in and offered out of generosity with invitation to support the service through donation (Dana). Mindfulness and Conscious Living Self -care Maintenance Program sessions are held the 2nd and 4th Monday’s of each month from 5:30 -7:00 pm for those who have completed the Mindfulness and Conscious Living Program. There will be NO Session on Monday November 26th or December 24th. There will be a session on December 10th and as usually in January. Look forward to seeing you and, as always, I encourage you to embrace “The 4 P’s” … Practice, with Perseverance, Patience and Positivity 🙂

I am away on training this Thursday and next Thursday and out of town giving a workshop the first Thursday of December so yoga classes will pick up again on December 13th. Look forward to a couple of relax and restore classes before Christmas 🙂

For all interested in Suzanne’s story and her teachings on Spirit and mediumship, after such a wonderful and well received Level 1 training at the Iris Center in August, we are expecting Suzanne to return to Fredericton for a another Serving Spirit Level 1 training in early January 2019 and will be back in August 2019 to share the Serving Spirit Level 2 training. Wendy is pleased to announce that her Thursday evening yoga classes (5:00-6:30) will commence this coming Thursday, October 11th and that all levels are invited. Wendy’s yoga is eclectic and grounded in mindfulness and breathing and is available to people of all levels and interests.

For graduates of the Mindfulness & Conscious Living Program
Tomorrow is the second Monday of the month and also Thanksgiving Monday so we will not have our usually mindfulness Self-care Maintenance Program session. The next session will be on the fourth Monday of October as usual and I look forward to seeing you then.

Happy Fall to All 🙂
Yoga at the Iris Center is starting up after a short break over the summer with Sessions on Sunday and Monday with Rachel to celebrate the change of seasons and Wendy’s & Bill’s classes will be starting soon as well so keep watching our posts for details.
Here are the details for Rachel’s classes:

Classes will hopefully be in the Greenhouse Studio so we can really appreciate the outdoors and change of season so be sure to dress with layers and perhaps bring a blanket. We will move indoors if necessary.
