Iris Center Fall & Winter Yoga with Wendy & Bill

We are pleased to announce Fall & Winter Yoga at The Iris Center and remind you that we are smoke & scent free. During the fall when the weather is conducive some classes may be held outside on the yoga deck under the tent by the pond so please come prepared with layered clothing. As in the past, our teachers offer classes out of generosity for the benefit of all.  The Center does invite you to offer a donation (“dana” … generosity of heart) to your teacher and to support the operations of the Center.

 Yoga with Wendy

Monday a.m. 9:00 – 10:30                starting November 23rd                 Mindfulness Yoga for women only; all levels

Thursday p.m. 5:00 – 6:30             starting November 19th                Mindfulness Yoga for all; all levels welcome

 Yoga with Bill

Sunday a.m. 9:30 – 12:00              starting November 22nd                   Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation for all; all levels welcome    

As in past years we will have a general theme to explore with our practice and this year we will be exploring “Understanding Ourselves” .  The class is mindfulness oriented and includes opening reflection and intention, half hour of warm up, an hour of asana (posture) practice and  flow, 20 minutes of deep relaxation practice, followed by pranayama (breathing practice), meditation, closing intention and dedication of practice.
