Yoga with Bill – as usual

Hello All,  So sorry for the mix up last week for those who came for yoga and found the studio locked … I was out of town and apparently must have not uploaded the blog posting about that.  My apologizes.  I am back and we will continue with Sunday morning Yoga classes on the theme of “Strength, Flexibility and Endurance” as usual 9:30-12:00.  I look forward to sharing this time with you.

Wednesday MCL class

Summer Insight Meditation Retreat

We are very pleased again to have vipassana teacher Heather Martin guide a summer non-residential retreat in the Greenhouse Studio.  Heather will be here June 8-10th, 2018 and as last year the retreat will be held Friday evening 7-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9-5.  Please bring a bag lunch on Saturday and  Sunday as mindful eating will be an integral part of our practice. Stay tuned here for more details and call The Iris Center at 506-457-4747 to save a seat. As last year, there will be a small, reasonable, base tuition to cover expenses and an opportunity to offer Dana (generosity) to Heather to support her ongoing teaching.   We look forward to having you join us for this our second annual summer weekend mindfulness retreat.

Psychic Mediumship Experience

We are very pleased to welcome Psychic Medium Anthony Mikolojeski back to The Iris Center from May 3-11, 2018. to Anthony will be offering private reading sessions on Thursday May 3rd, Tuesday May 8th, Wednesday May 9th, Thursday May 10th, and Friday May 11th.  For details and to book an appointment with Anthony please call The Iris Center at 457-4747.

Mindfulness Session this morning is Cancelled

Thursday February 8th

Due to driving conditions we will cancel this morning’s MCL session. We invite you to take advantage of this time to continue your practices and prepare for next week’s session at usual time, as well as digging yourself out 🙂 .

We will continue with this afternoon’s session as usual starting at 1 p.m.

Intro to MindBody Medicine Session postponed

The Tuesday evening Introduction to Mindbody Medicine Self-Regulation session for tonight is postponed until next Tuesday, January 30th, due to the inclement weather and dangerous road conditions. Yoga with Bill

Happy New Year All, I hope 2018 will be splendid for us all.

My Sunday morning Yoga with Bill will start Sunday January 28th from 9:30 – 12:00.  As in the past, classes are drop in and open to all levels and will continue through until June exploring the theme of “Strength, Flexibility and Endurance” in all domains -Koshas. The class is eclectic and mindfulness oriented with about 30-40 minutes of warm-up, 60 minutes of asana, 20 minutes deep relaxation followed by pranayama and meditation. I look forward to seeing you.
